Although it is hard to tell by his picture, Downey is a very handsome, all white (that is a grease smudge on his head), blue eyed boy.  He is very friendly and gentle and will just roll around at your feet for you to sit and pet him.  He is very gentle when you pick him up and he seems to just relax.  We don't know what breed he is mixed with but his mother was a short hair white cat with one blue eye and one green eye and was abandoned by her owners and when she was about to give birth to a litter of five, a neighbor provided her with a safe place and care on their patio.  Three of the 5 kittens were long haired, two had blue eyes and one of the kittens had short hair with sealpoint markings and blue eyes.  Even though they grew up outside they are very sweet and gentle and they are very good when picked up, which almost makes you think they may be part ragdoll.  Downey is FIV/Leukemia negative, neutered, flea and worm treated, microchipped and will get his last set of vaccines on 4-14-10, he will then be ready to find a forever home.  Watch for update pictures soon.
