Misty is a stray mom that showed up at a farm in the country. Unfortunately the farm has several dogs that are not friendly with cats. Misty was very smart (even though she is very very young) and somehow kept the small family hidden and safe for several weeks until the owner of the farm saw Misty sneaking in and out of the barn. She went to investigate and found Misty and 5 young kittens. Lucky for them the owner of the farm knew one of our great foster homes who agreed to take them. The kittens have all found homes and now it is Misty's turn.  Misty is good with friendly dogs and wants as much attention as she can get from people. She is ok with other cats but will try and chase them off if she thinks it will take away from the attention she wants. For that reason Misty may be best with dogs only or other cats who are very laid back.

Misty has been been wormed, flea treated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is microchipped, and current on vaccines. Her approx. DOB is 7/25/2011.
